KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Translate concepts into preliminary design, detail and subsystem design. 2.Create project plans, timelines, and software program specifications. 3.Develop software programs to design specifications. 4.Define testing and conversion plans. 5.Perform unit and system testing. 6.Optimize code for execution speed, multitasking and multi-threaded operating environments. 7.Document programs and systems with sufficient depth and breadth for technical support.
Requirements: 1.Ability to work in a non-structured, entrepreneurial environment. 2.Ability to develop large portions of software independently and rapidly. 3.Strong programming and debugging skills in C/C++/Java on UNIX platforms. LINUX EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY. Previous I.T. consulting experience is very helpful, as successful candidates will demonstrate a proven trackrecord of delivering software products using many different languages on multiple platforms. 4.Strong initiative, innovation, and communication skills. Team player mentality is very important. 5.Technical knowledge of security fundamentals; network protocols, firewalls, and tunneling protocols. THIS IS MANDATORY. THIS IS A TELECOMMUTING JOB!
